What you get
- If you use 150 units or less, you pay at most Rs 100 for the first 100 units. If the real bill is smaller, you pay the real bill.
- Units 101 to 150 have the normal tariff rate.
- The limit scales to the days billed: at most 5 units a day.
- The bill shows the subsidy. Some households have a different rule; see the official order.
If you use more than the limit
If you use more than 150 units in the month, there is no subsidy that month. You pay the whole bill.
How to apply

What we could not confirm
- The releases do not say which charges are inside the Rs 100. We count the energy charge of the first 100 units and the fixed charge.
- A 2019 page gives a 1 kW load limit. The releases from 2024 to 2026 do not. We do not apply a load limit.
- We did not find the current Government Order number.
