What is electricity Ombudsman?
The Electricity Ombudsman hears your grievance when the CGRF does not resolve it in time or you disagree with its order. Also called Ombudsman, Vidyut Lokpal.

Electricity Ombudsman on your bill
The state commission appoints or designates the Ombudsman.
Apply to the Ombudsman after the CGRF stage. Do this if the forum is late or you disagree with its order.
Send a copy of the CGRF order, your bills and your letters.
There is usually no fee. Check your state's CGRF and Ombudsman regulations for the time limit to appeal.
The forum and Ombudsman route does not remove other legal rights you have.
