  • Fixed-charge band (GD-1 to GD-4) uses this month's units; discoms may assign the band from past consumption.

  • The duty rate comes from a State investment-portal table, not the notification.

Government schemes in Rajasthan

Schemes that change what a home pays, read from the government order, the regulator’s order or the discom’s own notice. Checked 15 October 2026.

Mukhyamantri Nishulk Bijli Yojana In the calculator, on by default

Domestic consumers using up to 100 units a month get a zero bill. From 101 to 200 units, the energy charge of the first 100 units, the fixed charge, the urban cess and the electricity duty are waived. Above 200 units only the energy charge of the first 100 units is free.

  • The regulatory surcharge and water cess are not named, so we treat them as payable except in a zero bill.
  • Registration is required: RERC’s FY 2026-27 order and the Bijli Mitra portal refer to registered consumers. The Jan Aadhaar link and the March 2024 cut-off come only from news reports. The Energy Department order was not found.
  • No FY 2026-27 document restates the rule. RERC’s FY 2026-27 order (para 4.11) mentions the scheme’s beneficiary families, so it appears to continue.

Rajasthan bill questions

How much is the electricity bill for 100 units in Rajasthan?

About ₹0.00 for 100 units in a month, using the current RERC tariff. Urban, single phase. With Mukhyamantri Nishulk Bijli Yojana applied (on by default; see Government schemes below). Electricity duty and the monthly fuel surcharge are not included.

What will 200 or 300 units cost in Rajasthan?

Roughly ₹850.00 for 200 units, and ₹2,115.00 for 300 units. Use the calculator above for your exact units and load.

Are Rajasthan domestic slabs telescopic?

Yes. Each band of units is charged at its own rate, so only the units above a slab boundary pay the higher rate.

How often are Rajasthan electricity bills issued?

Homes are billed monthly. Enter the units for one billing period.

Which tariff order are these Rajasthan rates from?

True up 2024-25, ARR, Tariff and Investment Plan 2026-27 of Discoms (JVVNL, AVVNL, JdVVNL), dated 30 March 2026, in force from 1 April 2026. A link to the PDF is in the sources box on this page.

What does this estimate leave out?

Fixed-charge band (GD-1 to GD-4) uses this month's units; discoms may assign the band from past consumption. No water conservation cess on domestic use (Duty Act s.3B). Urban cess only in municipal areas, and not up to 100 units a month (s.3C). The duty rate comes from a State investment-portal table, not the notification.

Where is the consumer number on my Rajasthan electricity bill?

The name differs by discom. JVVNL: K No. (के.नं.); JdVVNL: K. No. (12 digits); TP Ajmer (TPADL): CA No (12 digits). The table on this page shows where each discom prints it, when its official pages say so.

Where to find your consumer number

Your bill shows a number that identifies your connection. In Rajasthan the discoms call it:

DiscomName on the billDigitsWhere to find itSource
JVVNLK No. (के.नं.)——JVVNL Terms and Conditions for Supply of Electricity 2021 (P
JdVVNLK. No.12At the top left, in large print, above your name.JdVVNL bill (sample bill, August 2026)
TP Ajmer (TPADL)CA No.12At the top, in the third column, on the first line. The K No. line is below it.TP Ajmer bill (sample bill, May 2026)

From the discoms’ own websites, bill guides and sample bills, read on 17 October 2026. Where the source is a sample bill, we read only its layout: the label, the place and the number of digits. A dash means the official page we read does not say. Never share your consumer number with an unknown caller or app.

We could not read official pages for AVVNL, so they are not in the table.
