Government schemes in Chhattisgarh

Schemes that change what a home pays, read from the government order, the regulator’s order or the discom’s own notice. Checked 15 October 2026.

Mukhyamantri Urja Rahat Jan Abhiyan (M-URJA) In the calculator, on by default

From 1 December 2025, domestic homes using up to 200 units a month get half the bill off. Homes using 201–400 units get 50% off on the first 200 units for one year. Above 400 units there is no concession.

  • The Cabinet decision says "bill", not which charges. Up to 200 units we halve the energy and fixed charges; for 201–400 units we halve the energy charge of the first 200 units.
  • The Cabinet decision gives the 201–400 relief "for the next one year" from 1 December 2025 and no exact end date; no extension had been announced as of 15 October 2026 (re-checked); by that wording it ends about 30 November 2026. The releases say "up to 50%".
  • No registration is mentioned in any official text.

About ₹240.00 for 100 units in a month, using the current CSERC tariff. Sanctioned load 2 kW, urban, single phase. With Mukhyamantri Urja Rahat Jan Abhiyan (M-URJA) applied (on by default; see Government schemes below). Electricity duty and the monthly fuel surcharge are not included.

What will 200 or 300 units cost in Chhattisgarh?

Roughly ₹465.00 for 200 units, and ₹1,085.00 for 300 units. Use the calculator above for your exact units and load.

Homes are billed monthly. Enter the units for one billing period.

Which tariff order are these Chhattisgarh rates from?

CSERC Tariff Order for CSPDCL, MYT FY 2026-30 and retail tariff FY 2026-27, dated 15 June 2026, in force from 1 July 2026. A link to the PDF is in the sources box on this page.

What does this estimate leave out?

FPPAS (monthly, on energy charges) and electricity duty not included.

Where is the consumer number on my Chhattisgarh electricity bill?

The name differs by discom. CSPDCL: BP No. The table on this page shows where each discom prints it, when its official pages say so.

Where to find your consumer number

Your bill shows a number that identifies your connection. In Chhattisgarh the discom calls it:

From the discoms’ own websites, bill guides and sample bills, read on 17 October 2026. Where the source is a sample bill, we read only its layout: the label, the place and the number of digits. A dash means the official page we read does not say. Never share your consumer number with an unknown caller or app.
