Slab limits in Chhattisgarh
These are the points where the Chhattisgarh home tariff moves to a higher rate. The last column is the daily use that keeps a 30-day bill under each limit.
| Slab limit a month | Rate you pay above it | Units a day to stay under |
|---|---|---|
| 100 units | ₹4.50 | 3.3 |
| 200 units | ₹6.00 | 6.7 |
| 400 units | ₹7.00 | 13.3 |
| 600 units | ₹8.80 | 20.0 |
From the tariff the calculator uses. A State free-units scheme can add its own limit; the tracker shows it when it applies.

About the tracker
How does the tracker project my bill?
It divides the units you have used so far by the days since your last reading, and multiplies by the days in your billing cycle. Then it runs that projection through your state’s tariff, the same way the bill calculator does.
Where do I find the reading on my last bill?
Every bill prints a “present reading” or “current reading”. That is the starting point for this cycle. Today’s reading is on the meter display; on most digital meters it is the kWh figure.
What is a cliff?
A point where one extra unit adds a lump sum to the bill, not just that unit’s price. It happens where a state re-rates every unit once you cross a line (Kerala above 250 units a month, Tamil Nadu above 500 in two months) or where the fixed charge steps up with use. The tracker tells you how many units a day keep you under it.
