MVCA on your bill
WBERC lets West Bengal licensees adjust variable cost each month. This is MVCA (or MFCA for generators).
The licensee works it out with a formula in the WBERC Tariff Regulations.
The MVCA collected is checked again in the true-up.
Example: an MVCA of 20 paise a unit on 300 units adds Rs 60. This number is only an example.
Check the current MVCA on the WBSEDCL or CESC notice for your bill period.
