We use the FPPAS from NPCL’s October 2026 bills notice. It changes each month. We apply it after the 10% discount. NPCL may apply it before.

The calculator does not add electricity duty. The NPCL handbook prints 5% of fixed + energy, but we found no current UP Government notification.

NPCL takes off 1% on the next bill if you pay by the due date and have no arrears. NPCL rounds the bill to the nearest rupee.

NPCL home tariff

LMV-1(c)(2): Urban home (other than lifeline). Each block of units has its own rate.

Fixed charge
₹110 a kW of contracted load, each month. A part kW counts as one full kW.
Regulatory discount
10% off the energy and fixed charges. UPERC kept it for 2026-27 and may reduce it later.
Prompt payment rebate
1% of the energy and fixed charges, if you pay by the due date and have no arrears. It comes off the next bill.
FPPAS (fuel surcharge)
−0.55% of the energy and fixed charges, on October 2026 bills. NPCL sets it each month. Bills in July, August and September 2026 had 6.80%, 9.20% and 2.29%.
Electricity duty
5% of the energy and fixed charges, as the NPCL consumer handbook prints it.
We have not read a current notification, so the calculator does not add it.

Which areas does NPCL supply?

NPCL supplies Greater Noida. Your bill shows the name of your supplier.

Why is an NPCL bill different from a state discom bill?

UPERC sets a separate tariff for NPCL. Its slabs, fixed charge and FPPAS are different. Use this calculator, not the Uttar Pradesh state calculator.

What is the FPPAS on my NPCL bill?

It is a charge for changes in the cost of fuel and power purchase. NPCL sets it, and it can change each month. Type the value on your bill into the calculator.

What is the NPCL complaint number?

NPCL lists 0120-6226666 on its official site, and 9718722222. 1912 is the national number for power complaints.

How do I pay my NPCL bill online?

Use the official payment page on the NPCL website or the NPCL Mobile App (Android only) app. Do not share OTPs or card details on other sites.
